About the Language School Team
Who will teach you? A highly qualified and experienced language trainer, part of our dynamic professional team, who not only delivers effective up-to-date teaching methods, but also makes the lessons engaging and fun. You learn every language with mother-tongue or bilingual speaker. Because nobody´s more familiar with the language than people who speak it from birth.
All our language trainers are academically educated and have years of teaching and pedagogic experience. They are patient and caring, good listeners, and they treat each student uniquely. People from all over the world come together at Dialog, a place where cultural diversity meets and different traditions and customs are exchanged. Our language trainers recognize the individual cultural differences and they encourage inclusion and diversity in each lesson, making every participant welcome and supported.
What do I learn?
Exactly what you need – the lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Our language trainers target your learning goals and meet your individual learning style. For business courses and private lessons in all languages, we create an individual concept based on your needs and the requirements of your workplace. In addition, many of our language trainers contribute their expertise knowledge of their professional fields on topics such as medical, insurance, finance, automotive, gastronomy, etc.
The German language courses offered in groups in the mornings and evenings correspond with the levels of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. Theses are internationally recognised and most textbooks are based on it. Our lessons are structured in interactive ways, varying in activities and exercises, and learning materials are used accordingly.
How do I learn?
The formula for success for acquiring a language at Dialog is ›learning by doing‹. From the very beginning we motivate the learners to SPEAK. The talent lies in our language trainers who are able to break down the barriers, build up the confidence, and motivate the participants to fully dive into a new language straight away. In order to achieve this, we consciously keep the groups small – on average 4 to 8 participants – and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly.
Our Dialog language school offers many different courses to fit various needs and schedules. The classes are all desiged for adults, individual learning or groups, general or business for companies. All language courses at Dialog are booked in cooperation with Alinguas Language School Munich. Alinguas is our partner school in Munich Schwabing. Managing directors Beatrice von Schlieben-Tschira and Anna Schuhmacher are commited and passionate in providing the best language solutions to the interested participants. Together with their competent team of language professionals they strive to meet the needs and goals of each learner.

German Exams at Dialog
All German courses offered at our language school also provide preparations for German exams – with the exception of courses on special topics such as pronunciation training, and technical or business German in the professional field (e.g.medicine).
You are also welcome to take the telc German exams directly at our school. Alinguas is an officially recognized telc examination centre, as well as one of the few university competence centers in Munich. The official telc certificate is often needed for employement, German citizenship, or university admission. However, you might also want to take the telc exam to measure your progress and get a reward for your hard work.
Where is the language school located?
The language school Dialog by Alinguas is located at Hohenzollernplatz 5, in Munich Schwabing. Our office is situated on the ground floor and most of our courses take place on the first floor. There is an elevator in the building. If you want to visit our school, please find all information including a map and opening hours at the contact page. We also have classrooms at Clemensstraße 5, few minutes walking distance from our school at Hohenzollernplatz.
Our school is in the heart of Schwabing, a quiet but centrally located area, and it is easily reachable by public transportation – underground, busses, and trams. The neighbourhood offers many amenities such as cafes, restaurants, shops, bookstore, even an outdoor and indoor swimming pool. The popular English Garden is not far away and the universities LMU and Technical University Munich are also within reach. The city centre is only about 10 minutes away by subway.
