We offer specialized German courses for professionals in the medical field. In order to work as a doctor, nurse, or medical caregiver in Germany, you need a state admission or profession permission, also known as FSP . We provide you with a thorough preparation for your exam.
These German courses offer training in verbal and written communication with medical staff, colleagues, and patients. Activities include conducting anamnesis interviews, writing medical reports, and practicing full scope of medical terminology. Additonally, the course includes thorough preparation for the required exams.
Our language trainers have an extensive medical expertise as well as years of experience in German as a foreign language (DaF). The course is suitable if you are planning to become, or you already work as, a doctor, nurse, or medical caregiver in Germany. Prerequisites for participation are a completed medical degree and knowledge of German at levels B2 or C1.

Additional Intensive Courses B2 / C1
These Intensive Courses for German for Medical Professions concentrate exclusively on the technical medical terminology and communication for doctors, nurses, and medical caregivers. If your German language is below level B2 or level C1, we would advise you to combine the intensive course with a general language intensive course. You can take both courses at the same time, or separately.

German Individual Training for Doctors and Nursing Staff
The language skills in the medical field are especially important since the communication between doctors, caregivers, patients, and their relatives could affect the treatment, not to mention contribute to its success.
The command of fundamental German language as well as the correct use of medical terminology is crucial for people working in this area. As of June 2015, in order to obtain a professional medical licence in Germany, a certificate of special language examination at the German Medical Association (Ärztekammer) is required . Our language course for doctors and nursing staff provides you with thorough preparation for this examination.

telc German B1·B2 Nursing Staff & Doctors
telc German B2·C1 Medicine
Upon request and by appointment, we also offer a thorough preparation for the following examinations: telc German B2-C1 Medicine for Doctors, and telc German B1-B2 Nursing Staff. The preparation course deals with the subject-related German language skills of foreign doctors and nurses and the content is oriented to the everyday work in a hospital. This also requires language skills at levels B1 to C1.
Note: In Bavaria and most other German federal states, the telc German B2-C1 medicine certificate is not recognised by the Medical Association. Currently, it is only accepted by the Medical Chambers of Hessen and Schleswig-Holstein as proof of language proficiency when granting the license to practise medicine (as of 2018).
